What is Hippotherapy you may ask?
No, it has nothing to do with hippos :) Hippotherapy includes an Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, and/or Speech Therapist combined with horses to provide motor and sensory input. It is scientifically proven that providing movement (vestibular input) while trying to teach a child something functional, increases the connection in nerve pathways to the brain to calm the nervous system down, especially helpful for children who seek sensory input through movement.

Kingdom Riders is a faith based nonprofit organization that will provide treatment focusing on early childhood and children of all abilities a safe place where they will learn, grow, and increase their daily life function through multi-sensory input and the natural gait of horses.
